How to store it
Once you have brought your berries home, do not wash them - moisture on the surface of berries encourages advice. Instead, discard the damaged or moldy berries, pat the others dry and store them in a clean, dry container. Berries quickly become worse, so eat them within 1 day or 2 days. Storage in the fridge will help them last longer, but berries taste best at room temperature. Rinse your berries before eating.
Tips for preparation
If you have extra berries then you can freeze them. Wash the berries, remove any leaf part on top and pat them dry. Spread the berries on a towel in a single layer and leave them to dry. Place the berries in a sealed plastic bag and freeze them for up to 6 months.
