  • 1 Carrot 
  • 1 Beetroot
  • 1 Apple
  • Water
  • Ice cubes
  • Maybe Ginger if you like the taste

Ginger is what gives the taste to this drink. The intense and slightly spicy taste of ginger gives this drink a strong character, but either you hate ginger or love it. So it's up to you if you want it in the juice.

Then the juice is almost perfect. But 1 - 2 spoons of honey would help this juice appeal to a greater number of people. Another good addition to this recipe could be mint leaves, so there are plenty of options for getting that drink inboard.  Note: However, do not put sugar in it.

How to make your juice

  • Get one large juicy apple, carrot, and beetroot.
  • Wash them clean to remove any dirt.
  • Chop them up into little pieces, without peeling.
  • Add them into a blender or juicer.
  • Pour in the cold water to help the blending process.
  • Blend away!
  • Pass the pulpy mix through a strainer.
  • Serve in a glass with a generous squeeze of fresh lemon or a tablespoon of honey.
